CREATE YOUR OWN GAME

Let's use the knowledge you have gained to make a game! 

You will have to tell your fellow pupils about the schools in the country you've just analyzed. Afterward, you will do a little quiz on this information. You can choose how.

• Make a Kahoot
• Make a memory via Educaplay

You may choose, together with your group, one of these options. Then, carry it out together.

OPTION 1: Make a Kahoot!

A Kahoot is a type of quiz that you can create and play online. You can add different types of questions that the players will have to solve. Let's make one together!

STEP 1: Go to https://create.kahoot.it/auth/login. Here you will have to log in to your account to start creating a Kahoot. If you do not have an account yet, you can make one.

STEP 2: Click on the 'create' button in the top right corner. Then choose 'Kahoot'.

STEP 3:  Now you can start adding and adjusting questions. The first question is already set ready for you. You can type the question and the answers. Do not forget to indicate which answer is right!

STEP 4: Click on the blue button that says 'add question'. Here you can choose between different question types. The ones with the star are premium questions. These you can't use, as they can only be accessed if you pay. 

STEP 5: When you have added at least five questions, you can save your Kahoot by clicking on the dark grey 'save' button in the top right corner. Do not forget to give your quiz a (decent) name.

STEP 6: When you want to present your quiz, go to 'library' and click on the blue 'start' button. Then choose 'classic mode' and you're good to go! The players will have to join by going to https://kahoot.it/ and filling in the code that appears on your screen.

OPTION 2: Make a memory via Educaplay!

Educaplay is an online platform where you can make different types of online educational games. Today you will learn how to make a memory.

STEP 1: Go to https://www.educaplay.com/login/ to log in to your account. If you do not already have an account, go to https://www.educaplay.com/signup/ to create one.

STEP 2: Click on the yellow button that says 'new activity' to start creating a game. Then choose 'memory game'.

STEP 3: Give your memory game a name and a description. Then indicate for which course and subject your Educaplay is meant.

STEP 4: Add a pair by clicking on the green 'add' button. 

STEP 5: Fill in the first part of the pair. Then click on 'next'. Fill in the second part of the pair and click on 'finish'. Now you've added your first pair in your memory!

STEP 6: Keep adding pairs until you have at least five.

STEP 7: When you have at least five pairs in your memory, you can publish it. First, give it a third label as you can see in the picture. Then click on the 'publish activity' button. Now you're all good to go!

STEP 8: When you want to let other pupils play your game, you can share it with them by clicking on the share icon. Then copy the link and send it to them.
